A.C.E. Thatch & Bamboo, Inc. uses Berg Grass (Scientific Name: Hyparrhenia Hirta), which is applied by their Artisans on structures in bundles. The bundles of Grass have been gathered, packed and tied all by hand by their staff in South Africa.
